Installation of MSN Messenger Live change Internet Explorer

I am facing a weird problem when I install the MSN Messenger Live on my Vista PC. I cannot surf the web at all using my IE7.
Uninstalling MSN Messenger did not resolve the issue. I tried opening IE7 with no add-on and it works. After checking through the Add-on list, I realise that both the Browser Extension and ActiveX Control changed from the original "npjpi150_07.dll" to "ssv.ddl" (Java's Browser Helper Object)
This problem is rectified by re-installing Java but will reoccur no matter in what sequence I install the MSN Messenger Live and Java.
Anyone have any solution to this as I need my Messenger to work on my Vista PC.
Thanks.

Marcus,
I
don't have a solution for your specific issue, but I did want to let you know that I installed Live Messenger 8.0 on my Vista system and both Messenger and IE 7 work without any problems.
